Hey i just graduated from High School. And going to Triton college now and wrestling for them. Out of all the classes English is my worst because i just can't type essays. I am outgoing person that will not be afraid to be challanged. sometimes i prefer to stay home to gather my thoughts. I go out with friends avery weekend and it is usually at night. during week days i barrely got any time because of school and wrestling. Hi, my name is Jan. The number one thing I value the most in a relationship is laughter. I have to find you ridiculously funny, and hopefully you'll think that I'm a hoot (maybe even two hoots). Heck if you just think I'm funny then we might have something. I also like animals and anything outdoors, enjoying nature. Well, I make bonds with people. I chose the wolf and these three adjectives: loyal, fierce, and misunderstood. The teacher later told us that those are supposedly the characteristics that we look for in a significant other. I am a huge sports nut. I enjoy playing softball and going to live events to watch baseball or hockey. Working out and staying fit and active are an integral part of my daily routine.

I am a unique individual that has lived a full and interesting life. I am fairly open and a pretty blunt person so people don't have to guess what I think or feel. I am an optimistic person who tries to never let the little annoyances in life get me down.
I recently moved back from 4 years in Dallas and am reaquanting myself with all the city has to offer.
I have gone through many ups and downs in life and find myself a better person for having gone through all of them. I regret nothing I have done, no matter how difficult it was when I lived through it, as it has made me who I am today.
I laugh at the silliness and superficiality that defines most of society. I used to care about money a whole lot more than I do now.

I have a need for travel, adventure, and strange experiences. This need has spent me all over the world; I've lived/worked in Antarctica, studied in India, and spent a summer living off my motorcycle.

I like learning and building things. I enjoy knowing how complicated things work, and the subtleties behind things we use and take for granted every day without thinking about. I'm a quick learner and pretty flexible, and as a result, I have all kinds of random technical skills - I'm that guy who can fix your computer, bicycle, car, and so on. I'm detail oriented, bordering on obsessive when I find something I like. I have a snarky side, and can be a sarcastic bastard when given the right material. I have a bunch of geeky interests; I like complicated board games, talking about economic theory, and I do a remarkable impression of Legolas and Link.

I used to look WAY more like Legolas, but I finally cut the long hair off a few weeks ago. Mostly because I never took very good care of it, so it was a frizzy, dry, knotted, horrible mess.

As for on what im looking for. im not very picky im not shallow i just want some new faces in my life. if friendship grows to more then so be it , but for now just trying to find a chill girl to hangout with me and my current friends. someone to have a good time maybe grabs some drinks or play pool with or something. me and my friends party alot mostly in my garage though, yeah it probably sounds lame but we turned it into the ultimate chill spot.

I finally think that Im gonna stay in this city cause I'm getting older and I used to live in many places in usa, the most in europe for almost 20 years it was fun but not anymore im kind of calm regarding travel :)...I'm fun to be around and I don't like to be bored ...the rest will come up

I'd say that for the most part I am very easy to get along with, as long as things are the way I like them to be. People think that because I always have a serious face, that I am in a bad mood. Not true. People also think I am shy and quiet, which is also not true. I don't see silence as awkward, but I also like to have conversations. The things I enjoy most are good food, good friends, and an occasional nap here and there.

I'm a recent college grad. I'm starting to realize I can do whatever I want with my life...I'm not confined to being an engineer (what I went to school for/just graduated summer '09). Ideally, I would run my own business. I want to get paid to think, but not just sit at a desk all day.

Being active/athletic is really important to me. I mostly just like to be outside and doing something. Some of my favorite sports: Tennis, racquetball, golf, running, hockey, football, softball, skiing, snowboarding, cycling, swimming, and martial arts. I'm always looking for a tennis partner...Okay, not in the winter. A future goal is to finish a full-length triathlon.

I am very outgoing and just love to have a good time! My goal everyday is to make someone smile :) Not one of those fake smiles a real smile! I am sometimes loud and a lot of the time I do not care what people think of me! It is just the way I am I guess... I am a huge sports fan! I love the Cubs and the Bears! ABOUT ME: First things first, I'm independent. I haven't needed to rely on anyone for many years now. I work hard, and to show for it, I have pretty much anything I need in life. To some that may sound spoiled, but nothing is given to me, I provide it for myself! My son and daughter are both grown, 22 and 25, both live close by. I see them often and they are very important to me. I have lived in my apartment for 20 years, I'm close with many of my neighbors, and we get together regularly for birthdays, barbecues, etc... I take good care of myself! I'm a nails done, hair done, well-dressed lady. To any of you who ends up taking me out on a date, I will be astonishing at your arm! I own both a fat cat and a skinny cat, but love all animals, dogs included. I'm a baseball fan... a CUBS fan! If you are a Sox fan, beware, but I'm willing to look past it for the right guy.

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR: Well, in general, I enjoy life and love to experience new things. Basically, if you have a major interest that isn't listed here as one of my interests, that's okay. I'm open to new things, given the right person is there to show me the way. Most importantly, I like a guy who can make me laugh. I like a guy that isn't in to drama and games. I like a guy who understands we all have faults, and can accept me for the wonderful things I have to offer as well as the not-so-wonderful things :)

WHAT I LIKE TO DO: I love all types of music, I enjoy movies, theater, museums, fests- outdoors or indoors, both are great. Summer is definitely my favorite time of year. I love being in the sun! However, the fact that it's fall won't keep me from being outdoors. I would love to meet up for some apple picking, a hayride, or even a drive in the country, where we can see the leaves take on fall colors. Do you have other ideas? I'm open. I also love to travel. I spent a few months in the Dominican Republic this summer, but a short weekend getaway can be great as well. There's a great big world out there, and I'd like to explore all of it, eventually.
